  • What is the low gear ratio you need/want?

EDIT: Meaning, what chainring are you looking to pair with what biggest cassette sprocket?

  • I'm not working out ratios or anything funky. I know a 42T MTB cassette works on my bike (having used one previously) and I simply want another one, having moved the old one to the gravel bike. I'm not about to muck about with aftermarket cassettes when I know I have something that works. One thing that did cross my mind was that now I have a 24mm axle on my gravel bike PM, I could swap that into the road bike and get 32/46 up front on that, so I'd have even lower gearing (if I could be bothered doing the swap).
