Probs......but I had a bit of spare cash so thought fuck it why not? Balancing my tyre karma by getting the cheap billy bonkers for my mtb.

Many argue that tyres dictate ride quality more than a frame, so could be a good call.

Let’s just say that at the moment I’m very happy with both.

Where's this?

Started at Chinnor, South Oxfordshire. The ride takes in some of the Wormsley estate, former home of John Paul Getty. Tbh some of the descents aren't fun on a gravel bike, but it's a great place to ride all the same.

I’ve got the Ali RUUT and I love it... it’s a bit heavy if you’re gonna be using it on the road a lot but it’s a whole heap of fun off road

Did a nice Surrey loop yesterday. Almost all off road, not all of it strictly gravel but nice none the less. 50-60k starting and ending at Richmond park so nice and easy for a few spare hours.

@PhilDAS, dont mind sending me/posting that gravel route do you ?, ive been looking for a good offroad route in that area for ages !

The route itself goes straight through the locked gate pictured above so needs to be diverted around (still offroad)
So probably easiest to just follow my activity. You can create a route from it in the three dot menu I think. The Wimbledon bit at the beginning is a bit sloppy. The rest is dry or gravel
