Yeah, you can chop The ISP as low as you want (it’s very easy), but as you say, the ID of the Carbon tube is 27.2, so you could also just chop the whole thing off, drill and slot it, and use a regular seatpost clamp and seatpost for full range of adjustability (also very easy). Don’t be scared chopping an ISP, it’s no more complicated than chopping the steerer on a fork....... it’s probably less complicated if anythingZ
