Oh nice, that looks like a very tidy job! I was thinking of doing this with a bit of spare 1 1/8 steerer tube. Good to see you’ve done it and it works.
I’ve got a spare 1 1/4 quill that I can borrow the wedge and bolt from too :)
How important is it to get the wedge and angle of the cut on the tube exactly the same I wonder? Was hoping to freehand it but was worried the whole idea was sketchy asf and didn't really want to experience the stem failing on a tandem ..
