My bank balance has just exhaled with relief that this is too big for me. Gosh, that's a nice bike. GLWS.

That is superb!
I’m broke so the answer to the following is of little consequence, and may be daft as I don’t think I fully understand how these things work but how much lower could the saddle go without cutting the ISP?
-
• #12
Yep I would be interested as to what height frame is currently setup for . Thinking 6 foot ish

The OP will have a better answer but on the Giants with ISPs if it's cut bang in the middle, so to speak, you've usually got +/- 5mm either way without needing to cut. Looking at that frame, I suspect you could take a fair bit off the ISP if you needed to. If it's cut carefully using the right tools by someone who knows what they're doing it's not a big deal.

I'm 183cm/ 6' pretty much dead on. There's always the ability to adjust it down if you like. You would have to check with Matt/Isen but I have a feeling that if you cut the isp off the inside the tube is 27.2 so you can put a seat post in it. Unless this is some one else that does this with their frames and I've imagined it.

Yeah, you can chop The ISP as low as you want (it’s very easy), but as you say, the ID of the Carbon tube is 27.2, so you could also just chop the whole thing off, drill and slot it, and use a regular seatpost clamp and seatpost for full range of adjustability (also very easy). Don’t be scared chopping an ISP, it’s no more complicated than chopping the steerer on a fork....... it’s probably less complicated if anythingZ
It’s what’s been done on this ISEN (exact same tubes)

Is this still available? Would love to come and see.
With a heavy heart I am putting my Talbot Frameset up for sale. Included, frame, Enve fork, mast topper with Enve hardware, Chris King headset, 2 x Chris King bb, 1 x bb 30, 1 x24mm, Fabric ALM, colour matched Enve roam stem.
The geometry is the same as a 56cm Specialized tarmac but with 1mm more bb drop. ISP is currently set at 790mm center to top of saddle. Normal rear brake placement with easy clearance for 28's. I've had 28c turbo cottons on the bike with plenty of room.
Small claim to frame, I believe this is the first adults bike Matt painted with the large TALBOT logo rather than the Talbot Frameworks logo.
