Not being hugely BMX literate ... what’s the appeal here??
I see lots of high quality old skool BMXs go cheap but this is silly money for a battered frame no?

I'm not either :) but I think it could be that it looks like original spec - around 81' -83' and those cranks (Sugino's first BMX cranks I think) make a lot of money and of course nostalgia.

Jeez, how can they not see that?
Cotic escapades seem to retain their value pretty well, I see them up for sale quite often and they are all expensive.

Jesus - either NOS frame or a dang good restoration

Lovely, but that head tube ruins it for me, so pass.

Agreed, have to offer sacrifices for the sake of aerodynamics...
But yeah, maybe more pass on the £3.5k price tag from my side

Seems pretty pricey to me but I know these Indy fab frames are pretty highly rated. Might be of interest to someone (located in Bristol):

Probably because West Yorkshire isn't exactly single speed territory.

Yes you’re right, didn’t really think of that.
I guess I’m just so used to people trying to sell bikes that look like they’ve been dragged out of the canal for about £150 in London.
Noted. I think I'm going to have a lot of fun with it however.
