What time is it? Watches and horology

As I say, been the same on every model I've had, just assumed that others were aware of it and that's how it's always been as I've never read any article highlighting it. It must be a manufacturing thing?? As I've never owned a Rolex, can others confirm that this is not the same on Rolex models?? From what I've seen online it doesn't appear to be. I know the brushing is parallel on the bracelet and diagonal on the lugs but I still don't think this would effect the colour perception to the eye that much?? That's why id like the Rolex feedback if possible (316 Vs 904) not sure on how much the finishing standard differs between the two.

Hope I've not ruined everyone's Tudor appeal :/
