Personally, I’ve never had a problem with axle slippage with disc & QR, using hex key skewers with steel serrated inserts that bite into dropouts.
I've never had QR problems but I have cyborg claws.
The 4S Disc (QR) definitely suffered from cornering disc rub that the Tripster (TA) doesn't.
