You know the onion is a satirical site?
Or is your follow up going to be a series of Sunday Sport headlines?

I didn't even notice it was The Onion and wondered how that sentence would make sense even for Americans. There's a WW2 bomber on the moon too, apparently.

I just heard on BBC News that 11,000 people have died in gun violence in the US since the start of the year.
11,000 in three and a bit months. About 112 every day.
I'm starting to think their militia is not quite well-regulated enough.

"disciplinary punishment" means they get moved to another (less prestigious) school.

Water cannon have been here for quite a period of time.

Surprised we've not seen LRADs purchased yet, tbh.

Yeah but Tresemmé wouldn't let anyone use them "in England and Wales" and rejected Johnson's application for usage. [https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/jul/23/theresa-may-police-water-cannon-use-england-wales]
Don't know if anyone would block it if Johnson decided to challenge that again now though. -

Always seemed odd that they were purchased but never used on the mainland.

Seems a missed opportunity to cross-sell their shampoos and shower gels to properly deal with the great unwashed.
You can get down to the “beach” here too, squeeze through the alley to the side of the pub
