As should Labour's failure to get fully behind the Yes vote in 2011 - no doubt partly due to the arrogance that they will always be a potential party of majority government, and so AV was not needed for them (yes I know AV was a shit option, but it was the best that could've been expected at the time).

    I am hopeful that ten years in the wilderness for Labour, at least for their more rational MPs, may have helped to amend that attitude of being the sole possible alternative to the Tories, and hence more open to the idea of a fairer voting system, but we shall see.
