Got extremely cold doing our annual CBRNE inspection/ scenario today and now feel like death.

Will have to see how shite I feel in the morning and may just do a gym session.

Id be up for some morning laps for sure, but having done a winter of a fair few early ones im keen to avoid the bleak freezing mornings so yeah when it warms up a bit would be awesome.

Excited for this. Seems we're all lazy and cold shy (except Ho) but could be a good bunch once it warms up

I’d be keen to join for a bit of this too.

I’ve done my share of early / shit weather rides this winter and I always find come spring when you think you’re nearly there, I just can’t hack anymore of it.

I’m up for this, too. I have become an RP convert this year.

I've never done Regents Park laps before. How far is it round? And aren't there a couple of traffic lights in there?

4.4km. Yes, but not a big deal and when you get a green lap it’s pretty special.

I’d be looking for 7–9 minute laps.

Not sure I'll be doing many 7 minute laps but we'll see :)

Had responsibilities this morning but may go and do some laps after work if I don’t do a Mott St loop. I’d be up for this next week, are most people fixed or geared?

Very much meant that as a range! I’m 7:30 on a good lap and 8:30–9 on an easy lap. Geared.

I have taken up fixed gear RP laps last year and it's just so much more fun. To the point of wondering why would one change gears in regents park ?

I'll be fixed- may need to up the gearing from my 70" currently though with all this chatter.

Sounds like a decent justification to dig out the Sunday best fixed bike. Been a while since I’ve done anything other than A to B/beer related fixed riding
