• A very rare Reynolds 653 tubed ALVES track/grass track bike, Hand built by Charlie Ralph of Alves Cycles, based near Elgin. Alves bikes were made to individual specifications and tend to be light, but robust to suit local conditions in the Highlands and Spey valley, so by their very nature are built to take a real hammering. This is a super quality, beautifully built frame that is very responsive and light ( for steel ! ). Lovely thin tubing and stays that gives a wonderful ride. Clearance for CX tyres (see pictures) Not sure when built, mid 80’s / early 90s
