What time is it? Watches and horology

I like the bi-metal Explorer...
(apart from I don't like Rolex or Mercedes hands)

Coke bezel GMT I reckon.

They've also gone back to the Oyster Bracelet on the Batman GMT. Not much excitement as usual.

Or a red bezel BB58.

Could also be more in their line of macho black ‘n red chronos.

Think they might discontinue the Heritage Chrono Blue and possible update on the Ranger as its been out a while and would fit inline with the Explorer change but I think that makes too much sense, ha.

What are your thoughts on the Slim?

It’s alive! My old Casio Twincept from about... 1995? Came on a black canvas strap but that’s long gone, had it on a blue Baby G strap for a while. Classy.

Yeah, I love that one, I think it's great. Also the GMT version. It's disappeared from their website, but maybe it's just not available in the UK anymore.

Being a designer-type person I think I can accept the typographic weirdness of the Hermes if it gels with the the watch as a whole, vs. the typographic flaws on heritage watches that - viewed uncharitably - could be interpreted as simple mistakes that should have been avoided.

I think it might be a sh bargain.. The movement is top class but the finishing.. Hmmmn, not sure about the excessive HHHH
