Being sensible - 38c. This was ridden with Gravel King SK 38c tyres. I've added an image to the album showing the clearance at the back. There is more room on the fork.
I put on one of my knobbly 650b 47c wheels and while it turns, there isn't much mud clearance. A smooth 40-42c might work depending on tyre and rim combo.

Would you still have the parts for/sell as a complete build?

Only wheelset (no rotors), original CX tyres, seatpost, stem + handlebars, saddle, brake calipers. I have the original FSA BB30 cranks but they won't fit on the current Bottom Bracket.

Ah cheers - friend I’m buying for doesn’t have a groupset spare, but thanks!
Listing this for interest as I've listed most of the parts but have not got around to taking photos of the frameset or other parts yet.

Praxis Works SRAM BB Converter 68mm GXP PF30 (runs a GXP crankset)
Loads of steerer tube left
Flat mount rear, post mount front (ideally 140mm rotor on the rear)
QR front and rear
Internal cable routing in fork and frameset. Can be done without specialist tools.
Conditions is good, it has not been extensively used and will get plenty of photos up soon.
Comes with original seatpost, headseat, spacers and stem. Can also keep the cables on there.
Other items available
In a box and hardly used, some items changed when the bike was new:
Cannondale saddle (£5)
Promax Render R disc brakes F/R (£10)
FSA Omega 46/36 crankset (BB30) (£30) - would require the BB being changed.
These also did very few miles before putting other parts on:
Formula CX 3.0 Disc wheelset (10 speed max) (£50)
Schwalbe Rapid Rob 700x35c tyres (£12 pair)
