To be honest you'd soon not notice any difference. Note they're 650c though not b, so if you wanna change wheels it can be a bugger finding nice ones. Plus tight clearances so you may have to run 23mm tyres.
Depends what you want to use it for, but it's a cool frame, and something a bit different. Maybe ask in here

Cool thread, thanks greeno. They do look like a laugh, maybe worth the plunge.

Thanks for the info & offer. Going to sit this one out and wait for something else.

If anyone's interested. Colour scheme is cool.

Had my eye on this. It however has a crack running through one of the tubes, which has now been described in the listing, so the wait goes on...

I can see it's edited by the seller to say its a crack but from the picture it's a chainstay protector. If undamaged may not increase much in price. Best to ask to see it in person if keen, or otherwise inform seller and ask them to peel it off.

Thats not a crack. You'd know if your chainstay had a crack in it that looked like that. Ha.

Only If itβs not up a hill. 39/19 is my smallest gear ππ

That makes the 42/23 on mine positively generous!

Nice ride. Could definitely do with a mechanical overhaul, not sure I can live with these Tiagra shifters either. Although 7402 from what I read is pretty devoid of shifter options, which is a shame. Modern groupset ahoy.

But my 7700!

So I can struggle with 39/19 :-)
Price? What are you replacing it with.

Stupid question, but what's the ride quality like with the 650b wheels? I've seen a couple of Tri's come and go but have always hesitated. Ta.
