Will I probably get home (450 km drive) without killing the car or not?
Definitely. It might wear out the transmission a tad more than the journey would otherwise, but 450km isn't going to kill it. It's worth getting them replaced when you can, but I wouldn't worry about it for that distance, especially as I doubt the car has limited slip diffs on the centre or rear diffs.
General car question. I’ve had to replace a rear tyre on my Mitsubishi phev outlander due to a roadside flat, it’s a car that sometimes is 4wd depending on conditions and if it’s charged or not. I’m far away from home and none of the tyre shops where I am can sort the correct replacement before I have to drive home.
I’ve calculated the diameter difference to 24mm which is 3% more than the other three tyres. I drove for about 150 km after fitting it, the car didn’t complain. And it usually complains about everything all the time, constantly.
