Brought the bike back from it’s winter habitat. Got caught in a easter surprise snowstorm and all the motorway cafés are corona closes so no where to regain warmth. Was proper awful. Broke the speedometer drive too when I got past around 160 kmph.
Only about 250 kms, but I need at least a day of recovery before I can even consider washing the salty grime off and mending the speedo drive.
Still good to feel alive though. :)

Sounds horrid. I had my speedo cable break 30 miles into a 200 mile day in December. Fortunately the gps gave fair to middling accuracy.

Also got pelted with sleet of some kind just as we finished the dirt riding. Was horribly wet and cold ride back. I feel for you, you’ve earned a beer.

Yea, no beer for me. I had too much over the easter holidays.
Got around to wash the bike this evening though.
Speedo drive below.
