that's great, thanks. didn't realise a 10 speed chain would work.

IME (which is nowhere near exhaustive) chain, cassette (& indexed shifter if that's your bag) need to be made to do the same job. In the case of 11sp and above, the mechs themselves have different pull requirements to achieve the same lateral movement, but 6-10 should all be interchangeable pull wise - i.e. the total cable pull from top to bottom cog.
I may come undone on this in the very near future!

@ງครɬ๑ຖ🐒 Currently looks like this. Obviously might be better without the mudguards, but during what feels like the coldest, greyest UK spring in a good few years, the desire for dry feet wins out for now.

@ງครɬ๑ຖ🐒 excuse the photos-lens either fogged or needs a good clean I think. Also, I love that rear mech ^^^^^ -what was it originally? Is it one you've done?

Hang on, are you saying that @ArthurDent can do that sort of renovation? I have a 10 speed Record carbon chainset I would love restored.
@Skülly Wanted to ask you how that's going to work as I'm thinking of doing something similar. What rear derailleur and width chain are you planning on using?
