what size are you ? I have a spare set of black DHB dorica MTB shoes I could let go. I think they're 43 or 43.5. I used them literally twice

I had a pair of the older style privateers with the velcro and absolutely loved them, extremely comfortable. I'm tempted to give the new style a go because I've not found anything else that suits my feet as well.

I really like my Shimano XC500 (discontinued I think, though sometimes crop up in places).

I've got some super stiff carbon soled XC shoes but recently bought a pair of the newer version of the Shimano XC5 so I could have more flex in the sole for walking in. Happy with them so far.
