GP5000TL are a really tight fit.
I know. Try getting a tube in them too. The idea behind using the TL version was to get the sidewall durability but I gave up on that idea and move to the Michi. I think I'll just get GP 5000 tubetype for the grrl's bike since that's what came with it, but I'll see if 28s fit first. On mine I'll shift front to back and then stick something new on the front.

You can get Pro Ones tubed, that's the equivalent of the old One. Same with GP5000. Don't bother with tubeless if you plan to use a tube, some beads are just stupidly tight and tires feel heavier and less supple than tubed counterparts.
Also, these tests are a bit one sided. Tubeless with no sealant and tubed with heavy butils. Once you add goo and you put a lighter tube it's about the same.
GP5000TL are a really tight fit. I could not get them to seat properly on Mavic Open Pro UST rims even with ridiculous pressures. Pirelli Cinturato Velo and Schwalbe G-One Allround & Speed Evolutions were a lot easier to fit. Conti GP5000 standard non tubeless were an easy fit also. I would not want to use a tubeless tyre with a tube because they usually do have thicker sidewalls and with a tube will most probably roll slower and be more uncomfortable than a comparable standard clincher. On the other hand Pirelli claims that Cinturato can be used with a tube or tubeless...
