I had one play, and managed my morale so badly that when I failed a check during a particularly discouraging conversation, my character quit on the spot and retired to live under a bridge and throw their feces at passers by.

Played a bit after carpark beers and fell asleep on the sofa, sensibly I played a game that isn't enhanced for series X so it was exactly the same. Played some star wars last night, that's pretty good and everything is a bit shiny.

Haha really!? I wondered what happened if you ran out of morale. I just had a particularly intense conversation with a grotesque man while sitting on an uncomfortable chair that kept chipping away at my health! All the voice acting that’s been added seems really good too

I'm looking forward to starting a new playthrough of DE with the full voice acting, such a great game.

can't wait for the xbox release to get announced. hopefully it will be GP day 1

speaking of which, anyone looking to download the spectacularly generic looking outriders ? I wouldn't give it a second glance normally but since it's free day 1 on GP... why not

New update for No Mans Sky yesterday is really good - completely new game mode which is almost like seasons with objectives and rewards. The rewards also carry over into your other saves.

Loads of fun so far... free on Game Pass too.

I'd go (and have haha) 1080p 144Hz tbh. I don't think the difference between 1080p and 4k is as noticeable as 60Hz and 144hz.

144Hz is quite nice even for regular use
