You're replacing the water bar as well? The profile you have chosen there would work quite well without one but when you have a water bar the bottom edge of the door is rebated to fit it.
Nothing wrong with the one you've gone for but a wooden weather bar is easier to paint to match the door which is a requirement for a lot of people.
