Building a flat-bar beater out of a road frame, looking for short-pull brake levers with 22.2mm clamp that'll work with the Shimano BR-6400 calipers already on the bike. Something like Paul Canti Levers but not as spenny.
Found a few Chinesium CNC jobbies on Ebay but the pull ratio is indeterminate; anyone got experience with this?

I fear you are right.
In that case, thread, does anyone have advice on how to strip and polish the external faces of this?

Oven cleaner will do it, obviously approach such products with great care though.

Offer 150, see what they come back with pay it and move on with your life. It's not worth stressing over.

then they will be making a small claim and charging storage
That seems unlikely. I know of situations of sellers offering to guarantee things on a house they're selling and solicitors advising buyers that such guarantees are worthless, since the only way of enforcing it would be via a small claims court, which would cost thousands of pounds to go through anyway. So, if you do just ghost them it will be much more cost effective for them to just hire a man and a van to take it all to the tip than to try and compel you to do it or pursue you for costs.
Of course IANA lawyer and your conscience may require you to clear it up anyway.

Small claims are done online these days for a very small fee. Enforcing a judgement is a whole other matter, but getting one is quick, simple and cheap if the claim is more or less indisputable.

There's a Shimano lever for that, a few actually if you include the Sora & Tiagra grades alongside the Ultegra BL-R780

Don't you want to use an old tyre? All the most legendary swings in the woods had old tyres on them. I have a couple you can have if you're near Egham/Staines.

Needs to be portable as it's for taking to the woods when we walk/cycle there, or go camping.

Fair enough, the advice I was referring to was a decade old and regarding something that would be much harder to prove and to get rectified.

If you left it because you couldn't be arsed to dispose of it I think its only reasonable you pay for the disposal?

Something like this...

Just tie some loops in the bottom for your feet.

Does anyone know if what this lady does is an actual sport and if so, what is the name?

She's riding a fixed frame, but the geometry is different from a track bicycle. Does anyone know where I could cheaply purchase one or if it's easier to mod an existing fixie?

is it called artistic cycling?

Thank you both, that helps. Now I need to find out where to get one :)

Tires are the romantic option but aside from the portability issues they’re hard to get into and out of and uncomfortable as fuck while you’re actually using them.

just chop a branch off a tree wherever you go!!!

There is a thread on using oven cleaning and polishing from way back in the day.
You definitely want a polishing wheel of some description. Even if it's just a bodge set up using a hand drill.

Does anyone have a picture of what a +6° stem looks like on a traditional flat top tube bike looks like. Ideally 100-120mm long.
Having no luck with google
Cheers.

I wouldn’t bother, especially for something so tiny. Once paint is off, a quick succession of sponge sanders and some polishing compound using a soft cloth and you’re done.

Thanks!
Also found some short pull ‘Litepro’ Chinesium CNC tart-mode levers for less than the Shimano part.
fair question... it basically cam down to time. once exchanged we had 2 weeks to find a place in Liverpool and move.
We grossly underestimated the amount of stuff my wife seems to have hoarded away and when it came down to it we didn't have time to get rid of the rest, we'd been to the tip twice as it was
