As others have said - unless it’s several trips to the tip’s worth, let them vent their spleen a bit, then just ghost them :-)
When we moved in to our current house, there was a fair bit up in the loft. Maybe 30% of it was stuff that could reasonably be considered ‘useful’ (replacement tiles for the kitchen, paint, etc) but the rest was basically rubbish. Most of its still up there, 8 years later.
Moving is a massive pain in the balls and sometimes, if the new owner wants to be in the house on the day they’ve booked the van/removal company, then they need to give the people moving all their stuff out a bit of slack.
Hi,
moved house recently and left some stuff (tiles, carpet and paint that match the house) and some stuff we didn't want that the new owners wouldn't want either
they are a bit annoyed and want us to pay for removal as it's not on the fixtures and fittings doc
Any idea where I stand on this?
I'm coming round to contributing to removal but don't fancy paying for all of it
