I've always wanted a nice JLC Atmos for my desk

Was looking for a new desk diving special and come across this ceramic number.
Full ceramic body, hefty 56mm Lug to Lug, 50mm across, ludicrous 28mm lug width.
I'd like to try one on, but being bigger than both my Helson and the monstrous G Shock GX56s in my watch box, I doubt I would buy one.

What is it?

I would like a clock or two one day. Dont know what is tasteful or not.

Me neither , I literally have no idea apart from it keeps time and chimes.
Weighs more than my car .

I’m willing to reluctantly accept that there are others with valid tastes but genuinely interested by the reaction (and price differential) between those Seamasters - I’m not a fan of either but the one with the most praise is, to me at least, not at all fair of face.

What am I missing?

I can’t work out how to tell my G-Shock that the clocks have gone forward, anyone know?

Googling tells me “the watch will know”, which isn’t true.

Have you tried speaking slowly and clearly?

Change the time (long press top left)
Cycle to the next option and it should be DST "off", change to "on"
???

This for the radio-controlled version? I remember this frustration but alas not the remedy.. same when landing in a new time zone.. there is an auto-BST setting somewhere if I remember well.

If I hold the top left button down it flashes “set”, then the date goes to Sunday and the hands to 22 to 8, and I can cycle through cities. If I choose a city by pressing top left again it moves the hands to the time (presumably) and resets the date.

I can’t find a way to switch to BST.

Ok, hold down adjust until it flashes “set”, then press mode to get into DST off/on.

This site is unreadable on an iPhone.

I've found that on the Casioak with the 5611 module, if you set your home city to UTC, you can't turn DST on or off, it's fixed to off. You have to set your home city to Lisbon, then you can turn DST on.
