I didn’t know about them, thought it’d be a normal caliper upside down or something.

Did a bit of Googling and found them, now want to build a bike around them!

Don not tell @amey or we will have a single caliper disc brakes are dead thread.

And he’ll be bothering @PhilDAS to modify a frame and fork for him.

Such a pitty they didn't leave it raw. Doesn't look nearly as nice in red.

I can’t imagine they provide very much braking force before the lever hits the bar mounted like that

So this frame was purchased a few years back purely for the obscurity. The frame size was too large for myself so it never got used, but hung on my bedroom wall.
The seat stays have been replaced with square tubing and seat post has been welded into place. Saddle height cannot be adjusted.

It looks stuck on with boogers.

You might have to change gear whilst you're braking to miss the bar
