Stripped it, trying to remember how it all goes back together. Winston Vaz has done me some brake mounts, a bunch of zits high up on the forks (rack will be attached to bottom pair, maybe a decaleur too on upper pair, the three was for cages outside if I fancy that), some threaded grips for dyno cable, and a pump peg pointing to the top edge of the rear DS dropout. He freed the seat extensions with some heat, and ground a flattish strip down the back of them as there’s tons of grip marks at different heights where grub screws secure this. Not unmarked, but less tatty all ready for some fresh paint.
Going to powder it.

Winston also spread the ends by another 5mm to 135. Looks good, wheel seems to sit well in there.
Took the bars to pal's house who has lots of G clamps, we clamped them to his shed floor, and had a go at bending them back to an even drop in the bend. Mostly by standing on various bits of it. There's still a slight difference if you really look hard, but it has sated the feeling I had that they were noticeably off.

Paint will be something like Black with a metallic bronze/gold.

Winston managed to get this badge off the tiny weird headtube thingy these have. It is slightly too flat and doesn’t match the shape of the tube too well, so I might try to bend it a bit more - but that may be intentional as it has just one rivet (was soldered in?!) and I guess could rattle if it was more snug but not very snug.
W said I oughtn’t polish it, keep the patina, but I think with glossy paint and shiny parts I’ll give that a buff - would be nice a bit more burnished I reckon.

Last night before taking it to Aurum, I ended up finishing off filing the new braze around the brake posts, zits and peg. Winston has done a fairly neat job on the posts, but with the fiddliness of six barrels I can understand why his filing was a little perfunctory there. Spent the length of a groovy Jackie Mittoo LP late last night cleaning up any slight blobs in the brass and trying to smooth out the transitions to tubing a bit more, with needle files. That was a surprisingly satisfying job, I'm sure I'll be glad / ashamed at my cack-handedness when I get the painted bits back.

Yes, when you type an opening quote mark/apostrophe, word processors will generally assume it's the start of a quote, whereas for shortened years you need the 'between letters/close quote' version.

There's a guy who lives round the back of the Horniman, who has a Pedersen that's been copper plated - it looks like it is made out of plumbing pipes.
Ooh yes, I've seen pics of that one a while back, not spotted in the wild yet, and we're close! I might have to ride mine ’round there to see just how horrible climbing is on it, see if i can bump into him.

Indeed. Notable you're using what my graphic designer belovéd calls ‘dumb quotes’, i.e. these: 'dumb quotes'. Instead of open quote and close quotes aka 6 & 9: ‘open quote and close quote’. Frankly, I am shocked Oliver. If you're on a Mac it's alt+] for open single, alt+shift+] for close single. The symbol works the same to do double quotes. #teachyourgrandmothertosuckeggs

I’ve already posted the first pic on a Pedersen thread, here’s its Current Bike thread.
Bought from a South London owner, not quite sure if from new or not. Came with Nexus 7 that looks like what it was built with, guessing from the look of the Shimano decals, made in Japan etc. Roller brakes both ends, solid mismatched touring rims, cranks almost bin-worthy.
Pedersen-specific elements all good as far as I can see, straight, no big knocks, except seat extension tubes stuckish. Classic repro Pedersen ‘Royal’ bar-stem is faintly bent, one arm a touch lower than originally. Otherwise despite the cobwebs and some water collected in the rear front-fork tubing (the straight tubes are sealed atop). Not too worried but a tiny bit unnerving obvs.
Plan: bit lighter, bigger clearances (came with 700-40 actually skimming the tubes pretty much, 32 with mudguards is a squeeze), V/canti mounts for 584. All silver parts where easy. 1x 10sp on a thumbie, bar end brakes, some cute 90s cantis I have, VO zeppelin guards, a sick 80s/90s modular front rack thing, possibly a Chorus crank with a narrow-wide 135 I picked up. Maybe beartraps.
