I live in the Netherlands; gravity has no effect here. That's why my bike weighs 15kg.
I blame the Dutch for there being no hills in these here parts. They were the original landscaping contractors. Don't see why they couldn't have added a mountain or three while they were at it.
I have my own gravity. 5kg, 50kg, it makes no difference over here.
