Would you use a pipe detector first? Or just go in gentle-like with a multitool?

Set saw blade to depth of floorboard and you shouldn’t have any trouble. And if there’s a pipe right at surface level, the board should have been up previously which is easy to spot.

Judging by the state of many lifted boards, many tradesmen don’t give a flying fuck when they pull them up.

Aye cut with a rusty saw and no tongues burst so it fucks up all the boards when they lift them
