@mattyc Decathlon are good. Their higher-end top shorts are the most comfortable I've found (Rapha included) but everyone has a different butt I guess.
Bellow is anther example of the style (few panels, basic pad). You can always take the pad out if you'd rather use shorts underneath.
Excellent - thank you for taking the time 👍🏻 I’ve never had any rapha shorts, mostly used Assos which are great but want to try other things - at £40 I’ll give the carratti bibs a go 👍🏻

Whilst they have better pads, I wouldn't say Rapha shorts are more durable. I don't own any of their tights.
