What do you need to grind for? I grind for espresso and went for a 1zpresso JX pro and am really happy with it. Bought direct and arrived in around 10 days for about £60/70 less than buying in UK from BellaBarista.
The JX (non pro) is identical but has (I’m pretty sure) half as many steps in adjustment so will be a little less precise to dial in, which shouldn’t be too big a problem with Aeropress/filter/drip. I remember seeing a video review that showed a step +/- added or removed about 7 seconds in a 2:1 espresso extraction, so might be fine for some at that too.
My suggestion would be to order direct if you can wait that extra week/10 days and either get the Pro for basically the price of the one you linked on Amazon or save a bit and get the non Pro if suitable.
The aergrind etc get good reviews but seeing as they already stopped stocking spares for models that were current a couple of years ago and their customer service is non existent I’d be wary. On the other hand I’ve read of people dealing with 1zpresso straight from Taiwan and getting good responses on spares (sometimes for free when warranted) which is what ultimately made me pull the trigger on that.
I am sure this question has been asked before but I need a new hand grinder ... my porlex has is just warped now. I basically can't get the grinder to stay together while grinding ...
is it really down to just 1zpresso vs aerspeed/aergrind? Seems the latter is harder to find in stock at the mo ...
this seems decently priced compared to other places
