Senderos in real mud, the type that CX racers drag me into, are wheel spinny nonsense.

Which tyres actually work in mud? I've ridden 2.4 MTB tyres through some stuff that's fine and other patches that are like an ice rink. What would gio do?

He's a fan of 33mm cx tyres, I believe.

My road tyres are wider. 2.6 front and back for the hardtail (when it arrives) will officially be the fattest rubber I've ever owned. I can't wait (I can wait and have to because shipping these days...)
