Yes

it has 'customised fenders', what is there to think about
-

Not a fan personally- I find the ‘mudguards’ especially offensive :)

They’ve made it waaay more impractical, old chainset, shite good for fuck all mudguards (like you’d get on cheap 80’s Raleighs) and I don’t see where they get the value (oooo carbon post).
Stupid wank project, that’s why they’re selling. -

Reminds me of a Cervelo that was on here recently.

Frame is from 2005 H2L
Couldn't you just buy a beater Brompton and do it yourself how you would like it?
-
• #12
Couldn't you buy the letters involved in the name and rearrange them on the kitchen table? Wouldn't that please your partner? Maybe you could electrify him.

It's certainly head turning and eye catching but not in the way the seller thinks......
-
• #14
Only if it comes with the bits to convert it back to something ridable, and even then it's super pricey.

No

No nonnonono

No. A grand gets you a much better Brompton than that...
-

Adding another no to the pile. It’s a project that’s decreased the value of the original bike in my book, £600 max.

I've come to my senses and won't be getting this. Thank you all.
The n+1 I'm looking for was a belt drive alfine 11 Brompton anyway and that budget cleared for this perhaps will be diverted to a mod kit from kinetics. Here's hoping.
Again... Thank you everyone!

So a folding that doesn't fold properly? You've seen the light.
-
• #21
Seller neglects to mention that the bars need to be loosened in the clamp and twisted backwards every time you fold it
-
• #22
Look forward to snapping a leaver off when you fold it at the train station
-
• #23
I don't think beater Bromptons exist any more? At least based on ebay prices...
-
• #24
Add this to the list of cursed items from around the world you wouldn't want anywhere near you
-

Short answer is obviously 'no'.
Longer answer is get an Airnimal if you want something that folds but is also moderately tolerable to ride with drop bars.

I've nigh convinced my dear partner and now just trying to not psych myself out buying this this weekend
I already have a s2l and m6r... I'm thinking this might be a lovely workhorses for the longer rides with cycling group at work (i have a front motor I add on to few hundred watts to keep up with the group)
This isn't something I could hack easily myself right? I.e. worth the price?
Edit:. No longer pursuing this. Appreciate the advice all
