So good! Super easy to put together and really good value

Yes, it was a treat for sure and not cheap but it was really tasty and I could see the effort in it to justify the price!

What is the best vegan mozzarella alternative you guys have found? Preferably widely available, or at least not just sold in one specialist shop in Flintshire.

Had the Kolamba cashew curry feast box last night to celebrate new job and so so happy with it was incredible! Highlights were actual the sambal and daal, the beetroot curry was super spicy! Thanks again @Cazakstan for the tip!

Made the school night vegan fried chicken again today but this time added black pepper, liquid smoke and soy sauce plus chicken seasoning (non chicken) to the Seitan mix, plus more Tofu. Came out way better

It did, I may have to order it again now I've been reminded of it. That sambal was great.

Thanks - I reckon I could do a lot of damage to those pies as well - they look awesome!

We got 4 or 5 and they disappeared worryingly quickly. Pizzas aren’t bad either. I’m going to stick another order in I think

I might have another go at it next week, I agree that it was perhaps slightly bland. Black pepper in particular sounds like an excellent addition!

It was slightly less 'bitey' probably the additional Tofu plus liquids. But flavour was better

Oh yes sorry @KatBalou'sPhone incorrect credit given!

One of the upsides of Covid is that I've been fed the meal plans off here for the past year now, mainly very delicious indeed.
I think you have to sign up to the weekly batch recipies but they also seem to have some free to access ones too

I'm away overnight for work this week. Staying in exotic Wembley. Anyone got suggestions for decent places for takeaway dinner around there?
-
• #8692
There's an only-just-opened vegan takeaway place near Preston Road station, which is where I'd go if I were there (but obviously can't recommend for lack of having tried it). One very positive review:

Apart from that, Happy Cow also shows nine vegetarian Indian places around the area, which I likewise can't recommend, but it certainly looks as if you'll be a bit spoilt for choice.

Cheers for that! I've noticed a few vegetarian Indian places that look decent when I've been before. I've yet to find a really good Indian place near me so maybe I'll go for that!

Cooking two curries and naan is a bit too much effort when finishing off a bottle of cooking wine, tasted alright though.

Nice one Amey, that looks banging!
Very kind, I am merely an extremely passionate lay noocher. Tbh I've never noticed a difference between them - I don't even have the finesse to tell between different brands, though I rarely see anything except Engevita in the UK
