More pics when it’s in my hands and out the garage.
Felt fine around the block. There’s a tapping sound that is one or more exhaust gaskets. I’ll be wrapping the joins with para-aramid and Holts bandages to be sure it’s nothing engine-related. A previous prospective buyer apparently wrapped a rag around the gaskets and the noise stopped, so the friend told me he’s prefer I tried it myself to be sure it’s not engine related.
Yes I am definitely going to be pushing what it’s capable of, and a fairing is on the cards.
We left the same time and I was on the DR with dirt wheels, friend on the KTM supermoto with 3x the bhp. Didn’t realise how hard I was riding the DR until I found myself laughing in my helmet.

Looks very tidy. I sure you will wring every last ounce from the engine too which is half the fun.
First thing I'd consider is an s fairing or some kind of screen. Naked bikes above 80 mph for a few hours are very tiring.
