I sorted out the hot start issue myself but I really can’t be arsed with major work on this.

Totally with you. Doing valves on modern, multi cylinder bikes is a massive chore. Last time I did the GSXR it took me an hour of swearing just to get the valve cover back on.

Watched a video of the process and the ladder plate has 16 bolts. SIXTEEN. The guy was calm till he had to slide that out of the frame.
