Wasn't there some sort of IG spat about Legion and (lack of) financial transparency? I only occasionally dip in to this sort of stuff on social media, so do correct me if I'm wrong.
On the thread, I always rather dismissed Rapha as MAMIL wear, only to change my mind when the Mrs bought me a winter jacket about 18 months ago. I still cannot get over how light and breathable it is for something so warm.
I am increasingly of the view that top end clothing/shoes and mid-range actual bike parts is a better use of cash for me. If I'm honest, I really can't tell a performance difference between a carbon and alloy seatpost (for example) but really can tell the difference between a set of DHB bib shorts and some Le Col ones. I think for most of us with not unlimited funds, saddles, tyres and clothing are where to splash the cash, and groupsets and finishing kit is where to save it. But ymmv, N=1 and all that.
