Not sure if it's new cleat issue, (might clear up once cleat is worn down through use) but it is noticeable in the terra ergolace. DZR's and Quoc Pham's I have , the recess is deep enough for cleat to not tap.
One of the reason's I'd like to see them in person before purchasing. Not sure when that'll happen though.

That would be a big no for me if they contact from new. That's one of the best things about my Five Ten... They save me a fortune on ATAC cleats thanks to the deep cleat recess.
