I wholeheartedly agree.
Even the Ex long spacesuit strap that comes in the huge box looks ok if you can lean the voodoo that enables you to wrap it round properly. -

I cannot believe anybody would wear that NASA strap. Maybe the person that leaves the "remove before flight" tag on Ma-1 bomber jackets .
