It's not whataboutery - if contravening the ministerial code should lead to a resignation (and it should) then Sturgeon should go, if she is found to have done so. However, so should half the current cabinet and the PM.
You can't advocate for one and not the other - or rather you can, but it reveals you to be nothing but a partisan shill who uses the concept of adherence to a moral code as a convenient fig leaf for advancing your own agenda.
I'm not sure Sturgeon is in the clear yet. The Hamilton report exonerated her in a limited sense (the remit was set by Swinney). The Committee report was fairly damning about the conduct of the SG (both civil service and the elected members).
The addendum that Hamilton attached re redactions to his report is also troubling.
