I've been eyeing up a Hiroshima chair or two for basically ever at this point. Maybe now's the time. Good to see some Palissade in there for anyone who wants to play bingo.

Thanks for those recommendations.
@6pt That looks nice, going see what my partner thinks.
@Tenderloin Bookmarked! Need some bedside lights too and some contenders there.
@Lolo Good idea too. -

Christ, plywood is expensive at the moment. I paid £35 a sheet for BB grade Birch Ply when I bought 6 sheets in April 2019. It's now £80 a sheet.
Having to re-think some upcoming projects...!

I have some pink VG&P table legs which could work if you had a nice table top made (I bought some new ones in a diff colour).

Might have recently bought a new bench and lounger...I've just gone heavy in that one box
I tried to find a reason to buy the Shiraz sofa but was vetoed

one isn't enough

But do you know how many is enough?
Licence fee payers know the answer

That looks fun. We're going from a living/diner 2 bed (well, 1 bed 1 study/nursery) place to four beds/three reception rooms (lol). Going to have a lot of empty rooms to fill, if we can ever actually afford to.

6 UJs per 16mm sheet is the KPI I'm working towards

Long shot but does anyone here have a copy of Enzo Mari, Autoprogettazione they'd be interested in selling?
I can't find any UK based shops with stock

In table news, my partner has other ideas. Something with a cylindrical tambour base. I’ve seen some beautiful but bankruptable examples. We both love this one though, can anyone ID it?

Ain’t the same but here’s a pdf - not sure if it’s complete

Maybe email/call Studio Hallett Ike and ask?
-
• #742
It’s nice, but I’d have put a 10mm radius on the corners. Accidental appendectomy scooting into the bench seat.
-
• #743
Thanks, better than no copy.
Maybe I’ll convince myself it’s more in the spirit of the work to have a freely distributed print at home version than pay massive postage costs for a ‘real’ copy.

Agree it looks lethal, didn't think of that. Not sure anyone does any scooting in that place though, one sits and contemplates.
Edit - still really like the place!

Innit, we made that mistake buying a table with a plate glass top with lethal pointy corners. It’s spent it’s entire life with shitty plastic IKEA protectors on to prevent child death.
In other news we waited four months for this cabinet to show and I noticed a nice dent when the sun caught it, fucks sake.

Its £45 a sheet at Builders Depot at the Moment. I've had about 20 sheets off them recently in 12mm and 18mm. The first batch of 12mm had loads of patches but the rest have been pretty decent. Most of the 18mm i've had has had one or two patches at most. Best to go and choose your own sheets though as its pot luck with delivery.

Unfortunately they're not delivering to my area at the moment.

I've had 2 of the 18mm sheets over the past 3 months form builders depot. Both had different shaped patches and also looked from different sources but were pretty decent overall (especially for the price compared to elsewhere). They'll do cuts on the panel saw for 90p each too (on weekdays), to fit them in the car.

I reckon you could get something bespoke like this

If you were still harbouring Ercol thoughts, their Outlet has a plank in black @807inc del. I’ve found if you watch their items on eBay they often offer a further 15-30% off.

Not sure if it's your style but worth a look.
