Just buy this one from Lidl tomorrow:

Has anyone got / used one of these. Seems like a serious bargain and am tempted if they’re not to wibbly-wobbly when there’s a bike on there.

I wouldn't recommend the park tool pcs 9 unless you get it for real cheap. I find mine isn't sturdy enough for some things and the clamp in the middle of the stand is poorly designed. I had to replace with their updated quick release one which has it's own issues. The rrp on it is way too high.
Edit: though if you've been using one and like then ignore me. I wouldn't rule it out being a user error.

That's genius! Need to do that

doesn’t ‘spark joy’.
Ha ha!
I’m going to give it a go. For the price of 20 cans of Stella I think I can cope with the joylessness. -

Available from Sunday, not tomorrow, isn't it?

I had one of the Lidl ones, they work, but you get what you pay for, ended up replacing it with a lifeline one, it's much more study and much more compact is it's just got the 2 legs that sit under the bike.

^ this. I’ve had one before and found the base down was larger than the space I had to work in, so it was always a pain.

Got a link to it?

I just bought one of these and would recommend. Only owned it a few weeks though, let's see how it holds up.

I’ve been using one for near a year now, would recommend for a home mechanic. The clamp isn’t strong enough by itself to hold the bike while you apply any major torque, like to a bottom bracket. That said, you can brace the bike with your spare hand and that solves it.
The only issue I had was one of the nuts holding the leg came off at some point, nearly collapsed under a large bike. Fixed by adding an extra nylon lock nut.

Hmmm. That does very similar. Maybe I’ll bite the bullet...

Merlin has it for cheaper, I think. No floor cover though https://www.merlincycles.com/bike-tools-workstand-49075.html?utm_source=PHG&utm_medium=AffiliateMarketing&utm_campaign=phg-GB&source=PHG

Always had good service from Merlin actually, not so much from CRC / Wiggle

I got the Wiggle version a couple of weeks ago. Very happy with it... dead solid (with my relatively lightweight bikes anyway) and folds up small. Got it over the Merlin version as wanted the mat to save leaving Squirt chain droppings all over the kitchen floor.
Missed one of these locally on eBay last week, and after borrowing @Dammits several times probably should invest. Long shot - if anyone has one they want to pass on?
