Where do i find inspiration for nice carpet? Ive not lived somewhere that wasn't all nice wooden flooring of some form for a while.
The bedroom (and office) upper floor of our place was stripped back to the pine floorboards and painted, but they're soft, squeaky, gappy, and very noisy.
Carpet seems to make sense but I struggle to picture nice carpet.
We went back to carpet in most of our bedrooms.
You want decent underlay and deep carpet. It feels really luxe. We've got 'oh-my-god-don't-you-dare-wear-shoes-or-even-slippers-in-here' cream in the main bed and more forgiving grey/blue in spare/kids room. All super plain.
Yeah think I'm struggling because when i mentally visualise 'nice rooms' in various styles, or look for inspiration on instagram/TMH etc - i see nothing with carpet that I like
