  • I'm fat and have short legs and am cheapskate. IN.

  • Are there any stockists for Lee Japan 101? Can only find the rubbish EU stuff

  • Would anybody be interested in these Samurai S711VXs?
Bought them in Japan about five years ago but I’ve barely worn them. I basically only wear black these days so it seems daft just having them sit in a cupboard.
They’re the 17oz S711vx with a nice red/silver selvedge. Waist 30, leg 36 but that was before soaking and hemming so now they’re probably more like 32/34.
These were unsanforized when I bought them so they’ve had one initial soak but no wash.
They sell new for £350 so I think £150 seems a fair asking price but let me know if I’m way off.
Happy to post more pictures if anybody is interested.

  • please can you measure them properly? I might, but they might be a shade small.

Maybe use the R&H method then I can check against something I have.

  • Thanks. Not a chance in hell my thighs will go in those! Sorry

  • That's very tempting. Looks to be bang on my size. Need to verify though, will measure later tonight

  • 20% off at hiutdenim BUGBOUNTY
Ends pretty soon though! Coincides with the launch of their new website

  • How much will a pair of Iron Heart IH-555-142 14Oz give after a wash? There’s a pair for sale here and the measurements right after a wash fits me well, but if they stretch loads they might be on the big side.

  • I doubt they’d stretch much . I have a pair of 888 in the same denim that I need to get around to selling as they don’t fit me anymore

  • What size?

  • In the weist they will give an inch ish. If you need more you might get more but still will be tight. If you don't need it, and they're not streched you won't get much. If I got another pair I'd do so at my normal weist not some less size.

  • Great input, thanks all!

  • I didn’t notice much shrinkage on my 555 21’s after their first soak at all

  • Finally got round to measuring. Too small :(

  • Anyone bought Hebtroco jeans?

My Hiuts are about to burst the crotch so I'm going to send them back for repairs. I was thinking of buying another pair of Hiuts as they are awesome, but I'm getting a bit of stick for spending over £200 on each item of clothing.

So Hebtroco straight cut. Sizing and quality?

    What does the panel think?

    https://hebtro.co/product/gvnr-selvedge-denim/

My straight cut Hiut are 34/36. I only actually need 33" leg. I have a pair of Momotaro which are 36" waist and seem the same as Hiut 34". Japanese waists are smaller?

Hebtroco say they "don't do vanity sizing" so I'm wondering if they are sized a bit small.

  • Will check in a bit think 34 x32

  • Got a pair of their moleskin trousers. Good quality but the fabric gives quite a lot. They fit great when newly washed but goes dad fit really quick. No idea about the denim but quality wise I trust them.

  • I am 33 waist in 501's, but 34 in Hebtroco and they are a great fit. I can take some measurements of my 34W 32L if you need.

  • Ah great, thanks both.

@gt if you could measure the waist, that would be awesome.

  • Anyone want a pair of Stan Ray fatigue pants in Blue Ripstop 32w 32l

    https://www.stanray.com/collections/fatigues/products/slim-fatigue-navy-ripstop-1

    £40 takes them

  • This is a new pair, not worn yet.
