Looks like the same tool interface, but without the step which allows fat chains to run on small sprockets. Without the step, you might just about be able to use a 13T, but with most chains the minimum is going to be 14T.
Both the step and the HT2 tool interface existed before I made mine, all I did was have both features in one product.
