I need to order replacement keys for my Kryptonite lock but the serial number is very worn down on the key. I tried to do a rubbing with a piece of paper and pencil but didn’t work.

Any ideas on how I can reveal the number?

Your key number is typically 1-2 letters (your Key Prefix), followed
by 4 to 6 numbers (your Key Number).

Might not work now but a few years ago I sent kryptonite a message/email a explaining I’d lost the keys to an expensive lock of theirs I had at home (instead of locked in public to a bike). I sent my lock number and some pics, and they sent me a key, which I promptly registered with their keysafe programme.
