Cute Pace RC100-esque paint.
What’s the plan with it?

Strip the frame down, probably leave the patina and decals. Just clean up any major bits of rust and clear coat. Then find what bits I have in the spares box that fit. If the geo works will be switched to drops.

Never really updated this with progress, now rideable. Few finishing bits still to come or adjust.

Literally just ridden it down the road to make sure nothing major falls off. Finished up quite late last night. Hopefully take it for a better ride over the weekend. One difference noticed between the 700 GKs are the nobbles are bigger on these 26s.

Optical illusion surely, because of the smaller diameter. ;)

Thanks peeps, pretty happy how it turned out. Little more aggressive that really thought through. But seems comfy enough.
I've a mount for the Dyno light on the bars but ideally I'd like a front rack. The original rack, nitto m12, did not fit. And its a pain getting a fork hanger and rack to work. -

Cool bike! Do you like the Topo triangle bag?
-
• #16
It's ok. Keeps it shape well pretty light and comes with a shoulder strap. Originally bought for a different project. Needed something to put my keys and wallet in. But think I'll go back to my carradice zip roll.

That Topo bag looks big enough for more than keys and wallet. Just joking the Scott looks really great a do it all bike .I need one in my fleet.

The new build kit did that frame from boring to amazing.

What started well didn't continue. Never got on with the amount of drop so now it's back closer to a MTB

Which bars are they? custom frame bag? Also can we see a drive side shot?
-

Yeah sorry, shit at taking bike pictures. Will grab one later. Bars are soma dream as mentioned below. And it's a restrap bag.
Just ordered an aged B17 as not enjoying the plastic brooks. And got some smoke and dart tyres as the GKs are fine on dusty dirt but sketchy on mud. Oh and a new front wheel to build up as I won't be using the Dyno light on this now. -

Thanks, yeah soma bars. Potential don't need the length stem but the only ones I had in my box was an 80 or 120.
Found on eBay, fell for the colour way and has been sitting in the box that the dude sent me since then. Moved house and now open and time to build up.....
