Does anyone want a used but good condition MX Master (v1) mouse for £40 delivered?
-
• #1603
Firmware is LMP 10.* Which is bt5.1
Just ordered another set of the Jabras as I need something that works, for work.

Wow. That's a decent discount.
I wonder if they're gearing up for sales to tail off?
-
• #1606
They've had a few decent discounts before (I got £75 off of mine) and it's currently Amazon's 'spring sale' when there are more discounts around than normal - I think Amazon reduce their fulfilment charge for participation.
Still, you could expect that most people who would go for one will have acquired one by now.

I've been told that we'll be WFH 2-3 days a week once the pandemic is over, which has prompted me to get one. Otherwise £300 on a desk is totally unnecessary if I'm in the office 5 days a week
Expect there'll be a fair few people in a similar situation as employers are thinking about post-COVID working.

A bit late to the conversation but do you have a link to the standing mat you have? I can't find it on the Ikea site.
-
• #1609
Can’t find it either now, might be discontinued :(
-
• #1610
OK, cheers. Off on a ggole deep search for standing desk mats then as my feet are killing me :(
-
• #1611
..just sit down for a change?
-
• #1612
That won't work with a standing desk...
-
• #1613
..just get a regular desk?
-
• #1614
Is it a permanent standing desk?
I was told that standing all the time is just as bad as sitting all the time.
-
• #1615
It is yes and I think I'm coming to that conclusion now!
-
• #1616
Maybe a cheap bar stool for occasional sit downs?
-
• #1617
Yeah, I've been looking for one of those as well. I was hoping that and a mat would be enough together as I actaully prefer to work standing but other options are good!

I got a Lidkullen stool from ikea, I like it. Although I had to train myself not to kick the feet (when walking around, they stick out more than expected).

Fairly cheap and comes in a small enough package to easily cycle with. -

Another vote for the Dynamic Sitall stool. Goes high enough to gently perch on when standing at a desk too to give another option than just sitting or standing. It's about ~£120.

Thanks. Those two are the ones that have come out top of the search list so far.

Retrobike site is down for maintenance. Now what I am going to do all day?
-
• #1622
Complete LFGSS obviously

Still arguing with work about swapping out the knackered old 24" for a matchy matchy 27". Keyboard rest looks disgusting on camera and the room desperately needs redecorated. But still pleased with the set up.

Also got some storage, which still needs organising but at least I have no more moving boxes of crap in my office. I oven sorted micro USB and USB C cables into separate bags for the top drawer. Like some sort of grown up.

Ah, so that's why people want those massive ranges.
Do you have Bluetooth 5 on your laptop?
Otherwise both might be reverting back to Bluetooth 4.1.
In theory, the Aukeys should have lower latency, but that may only be for listening, and not necessarily the mic to your laptop.
