You need a really short stem to run them too as they are so long. Flexy as, when out the saddle too. -

They used to come on a mid-priced Felt (TK2) so there were tons of them floating about as Felt owners realised they were less than desirable for fixie-skid lyfe

Not all, as I recall — not the Team edition, and not all Ltd edition either. There were some chin-stroking discussions with the UCI around Article 1.3.020 about the bar's forward extension, which officials feared would promote a dangerous 'superman' position. We made it clear to all purchasers that they would need a shorter stem, and to consult the UCI guidance beforehand. I never rode the bar so have no experience of its handling. The Scatto sprint bar that followed — also engineered by Richard McAinsh — was more of a commercial success. Neither bar was intended for use on the road.
