  • Took this as a recommendation & picked up a couple. They were excellent. Ta!

  • Cracked this one as a reward for walking the dog and conversing with a smackhead about last night's West Ham performance.

    Vocation X Kirkstall No.666
    Imperial Stout
Blended with coffee, but it's remarkably sweet, considering it's not specifically a dessert stout.
    Fucking ludicrous 10.9% too.

  • Usually can't go wrong with Deya!

  • I picked up some German beers at the weekend, either my tastebuds have been ravaged by covid or this one has a bacon aftertaste. I’m not drinking any more of it until the burger comes off the grill, it should pair nicely.

  • It's brewed with smoked malt, you haven't got covid 😂

  • I love that beer, but smoked beers are certainly an acquired taste

  • Happy ☘️

  • Insanely weird but delicious: capsicum, carrot and mango pastry sour

  • This'd be a decent bike ride... say Chenai to Ventspils, about 8,400km. Port(er) to Port(er).

    Porteur bars & rack mandatory.

  • ^ the IDP is lovely.

  • Tha Baltic is great, I've not actually seen the Mosaic/Sabro IDP, will have to ride over there next week!

  • Baltic is next to complete my journey!

The IDP has a nice hoppy twang, as would be expected.

  • Had their lighter one yesterday. Not smoked but lagered in the barrels of them. Kind of strange, took half the bottle to really taste the smoke

  • Got a whole load of German beer from beersniffers as into them atm , some
Kind of back to the source kind of trip after being fed up with over hopped, 7% £6 440ml cans.

Enjoyed them by and large, Augustiner is a great Munich brewery. This also was a fine lager.

Used to drink Neck Oil in pubs as a default, not sure I’d enjoy paying 5/6 quid a pint again for it.

  • Restock on the Kernels.

Tautarus Barley Wine, 13.2% also I've hopefully got their 17% on hold at the other shop of my preferred offy.

The Honeycomb is for now whilst I burn stuff at the allotment, it is very nice. Sweet in the spring sunshine.

  • A local beer too, looks like a good one

  • ^^ looks great, might be hard to get though as there's max 199 left in the world...

  • 198 @Cazakstan has had one too

  • Scored this as mentioned earlier. There's 2 more in the shop. I could cane this tonight and get another as a keeper at opening tomorrow or just save this one.. 17% feels like it should be a sharer though and I don't want a fuzzy head tomorrow really.
